Date : 4th December 07
Time : immediately when D&D ends (approx 2330) till closing (0430hrs).

Who : All J2 NYJCians (even those who have retained last yr), irregardless of whether they are attending D&D. i.e. they can just come straight for the party and wait for the rest of us.

today was the graduation ceremony for us!
really quickly, 2 years passed.
didnt wanna to blog in the first place but ms chiew's sms urged me to blog.
today, i realised that nyjc is filled wit sugar-coated ppl.

Annie, one of my classmates gave each of us a CD today.
it has photos of the class from the beginning till now.
and she made a slide show too! uber nice! super sweet

Mr Tonny Lim. He gave each of us a personalised gift today!
He must have took a long time making those gift for 30 plus ppl.
must have put in a lot of effort plus it's so rare for a male teacher to do such sweet stuffs!

Ms Amy Chiew. I jus received an sms from to congratulate me for my improved grades. It not fabulous but i improved! like wat she said in the sms, i might continue to improve! =]

So sweet of all of them. i feel so loved. <3

Looking at the pics that annie gave us. It's make me wanna laugh and tear.
Cos some are really funny and some really brings back sweet memories.

Then i wanna share a fetish of mine today!
When looking at photos, i love to look at things that are off the focus, eg not the main persons in the photos but the passer-by, looking at the face expression and stuffs! its really funny!

So Friday i played mahjong. Today, i played again!
I won 30 cents on Friday after a few rounds.
I lost 16.30 after the first set of mahjong rounds today,
On, the second set, i finally won 4 bucks again. Cos i decided notbe ambitious.

PRELIMS!

prelims are in some sense over, unoffically that is.
next week, i'm left with Chemistry P1 and P2 and Bio P1.
So it's more or less over rite?

But prelims this far, aint very smooth sailing.
cos techincally speaking i din complete any paper except GP.
Chem P3. i couldnt finish, left about 17 marks undone.
Maths P1 and P2 left some parts of questions undone.
Bio P2, i mentioned before, essay not done.
Bio P3 was better, mostly all done, just felt that the paper was a bit challenging.
Chinese P1, i think my essay is like crap? seriously, this is the first time i felt so bad about my essay. I even tot of rewriting when i only have 15mins left but the rational side of me overtook me.
Chinese p2. din complete the questions. =[

i'm really fearful. fearful for the fact that what if everyone around me has done well except me?
then i would be quite sad la.
cos it's like, in comparison to the other examinations i put in a little bit more effort lo.
So i should deserve better grades right?
if not the input is not equals to the output.
i really hope to at least meet the criteria of 2H2 and one H1 pass la.
which is i hope to get my chem,bio and GP.

Today, was the Bio paper 2.
Split into 2 sections, 7 structured questions and 1 essay question where u choose from 2.
Paper was 2 hours.
When i did finish my 7 structured questions, it was 9.59 on the clock, we started at 10.
With 1 min left, i haven touch my 20m essay question!
In the end, i wrote " Cance is a genetic disease as it could be traced to genetic causes. Cancer occurs when cells divide uncontrollably, go out of cell cycle and lead to a over-proliferations of cells, forming a lump of overlapping cells known as tumor" Then came the PENS DOWN!

LALALA!
not really affected or sad cos being sad doesnt solve the problem.
If being sad allows me to get my marks, i would definitely cry a bucket!
BUT! no point!

Today, i had my Chinese Lit Paper.
It was rather alright.
But i was in a dilemma.

Just like how my Chinese Lit Novel <> goes.
In life, we always face dilemma, forcing us to choose a way from two in which both has both it's pros and cons.
In the story, Hu Fei has to decide whether to kill the person who killed his Dad aka the father of the girl he fell straight in to love with (love at first sight).
So Hu Fei has the upperhand of being able to kill th guy but he was struck in a dilemma.
To kill or not to kill?
Kill bcos he killed his father?
Not to kill bcos he's her dreamgirl's father, the girl would be devasted to know that the man she likes, actually killed her father!
So, he's seriously stucked!
HOW?

the author didnt tell us, he instead question, " Would Hu Fei, bring his sword down upon him?"
he left it to our imagination.
And this is reflective of out daily live where we often encounter sticky dilemma that forces us to make a choice. Both having their adv and disadv.

For this prelims, i did studied much harder for Chinese Lit.
But i ended up, having not complete my paper.
why?
ironically, its because i studied, have a lot of things to write for most questions.
Thus i wanna create the best ans for each questions causing me to have no time to complete the paper.

But when i dun really study hard. i can complete the paper cos i have little things to write for each questions. Then i dun feel guilty in not completing the paper.

But now, i studied and did not complete, did not put in my utmost effort to complete the paper.
I'm feeling guilty. So weird.

So! to study or not study?

i've decided i will study even harder! so that i will have all facts on my fingertips and even toetip then i can write faster.
And i mus also have better time management skills.

we cant choose whether we wanna face dilemma but we can choose our attitude to face it =]

disgusting headache

now, i'm having the 2nd major headache/migraine of the week... crap...
the previous one was on monday night...
where i had uber disgusting splitting mirgraine that really almost took my head away...
i was feeling that ache in the head at around evening time while i was studying in school...
but the feeling was quite slight, so i ignored it and continued to mug...
i got home, feeling the headache lauch it's attack on me...
SHIT! i need my bed...
so i pop into the bed...
3a.m. i woke up to the ultra splitting headache...
the most painful headache that even occured to me so far...
it was so painful that i almost wanted to tear...
So i pop two bestfriend -- panadol
and wanted to get back to bed...
but the headache was TMD-ly painful...
luckily, half an hour later, i felt better and could fall asleep...

NOW! i having another one...
not as bad but still irritating..
i reached home @ 2...
tot that the weather was too good to disappoint so i decided to take amug before i mug since i'm having headache too...
so i pop 1 bestfriend and went to bed , woke up for dinner...
the pain was still there but even greater....
pop "2 bestfriends" in again..
feeling better now... phew!

been eating a lot of "bestfriend" later...
HAI...
ppl might say its stress but i dun think so...
cos i was studying at my usual slow pace that day...
couldnt be the stress...

sleepiness

Dont know what's wrong with me today, i've caught the "sleepy-bug"
Ytd, slept from 11.30 to 12.30 today. That's 13 hrs.
Then after eating and slacking i felt tired AGAIN, and slept from 2.30 to 6.30.
Another freaking 4hrs. Thats like 17hrs.
That's really a lot huh? It totally ruined my study plans.
But never mind, i promised that i will complete Organic Chemistry revision before i sleep.

I guess the reason why i feel so tired is due to the weeks of sleeping for only 5plus hrs.
I can only comfort myself by saying " Bingliang, u totally deserved this rest for working rather hard the past weeks"
HAHAHA. To rest is to prepare for longer journeys.
Thinking about sleeeping late for the past weeks, i'm brought back to the fact that i was late for school for 3 times! CRAP!

Today, i'm kinda of angry, cos i was late for school.

Not angry that i was late for school, just the fact that i'm late for school for the 3rd time in this stupid term.
And in this stupid term, the stupid school decided to be more stringnent on their latecoming regulations. Then just so happen, in this fateful term i got the stupid habit of latecoming!
Like WTH!
Vaguely, here are the new regulations.

Now, if u're late for school, u dun report directly to your lesson venue but instead report to the general office. In order to "sign in", if not u will be treated as "absent without reason"
1st time late coming, call parents to inform
2nd time late coming, verbal warning from CT.
3rd time late coming, see DM/school counsellor
4th time late coming, OUT OF SCHOOL! (expelled)

ridiculous? DAMN RIDICULOUS!

Here comes the irony. I just receiced a warning letter from the school to inform my parents that i was late for school for 2 times. Then the parents have to acknowlegde and sign in.
MY PARENTS HAS YET SIGNED THEN HERE I WAS LATE FOR THE 3RD TIME!
wonderful right?
Seriously speaking, my parents dun really care if i report to school late or what, so long as i go and attend they are fine with it.

But the school has to be so insistent.

I'm really angry that i'm late for school again today.
Cos actually today was the second 3rd time i was late for school.
Last thursday, it was supposed to be my 3rd time for latecoming.
Just the day before, my CT warned 2 other classmates and i for coming to school late for more than 2 times.
Then the next day i was late! F!
Looking at my timetable and considering the pros and cons, i decided to give school a miss since i wasnt feeling at best that day too. So i went to the doctor.
Therefore, i saved my 3rd latecoming, for rainy day.

God knows? The rainy day was today!
I woke up at 7.35.
I totally didnt hear my alarm clock, i think i was too tired.
At first, i tot i could make it for the assembly that starts at 7.40.
So i rushed a bit, 7.38.
I shouted countless Fsin my heart and knew that i would still be late even if i rushed down.
Feeling sad and angry, i sat down again to consider whether i should go to school since i'm late and looking at the new regulations for late coming.
So i thought, i came to the conclusion that i should go to school.
Cos i was feeling unwell at all, there's no reason for me to go the doctor for an MC.
And it would be super crazy to visit the doctor weekly.
So i bravely set off for school, still feeling angry!

I walked slowly to the school.
To my favorite side gate, but it was locked!
This made me angrier cos i have to walk to the other side gate.
So i jalan-ed my way there. On the way, i told myself " if the other side gate is also locked. That's it. I'm going home no method wat."
But it was opened!
And out came 3 students who rushed out hurriedly, telling that they were in the wrong attire and didnt dare stay on, so they are going off now.
I did care about them and continue to walk slowly.
Then one guy told me this " I think u better walk faster"
Then i was even more angry, i turn back rolled my eyes and continue with my walk.
So F-ing angry, i'm late and u still want me to walk faster?
late means late? reporting at the general office earlier wouldnt mean that i'm not late!
And that fellow is obviously not in the position to ask me to walk faster la!
RAHHHHHHHHHH!

After reporting, i went to the hall.
Saw my classmates and grumbled that i'm late for the 3rd time!
REALLY ANGRY AND SAD! =[

I'm angry with myself for being too sleep-hungry.
I'm angry with myself for not hearing the alarm.
I'm angry with the school's system
I'm angry with having no one in the house who can wake me up, so if i cant auto-wake, i'm dead.
I'm angry with myself for starting to have the bad habit of latecoming only when the school decideds to be strict in their latecoming regulations.
I'm angry with the fact that i wasted my 3rd latecoming on some stupid short 2hr celebration in school, i should have missed it but have no reason to.
I"M ANGRY!

And i'm super scared of being late for the 4th time cos i think its super easy for me to be late again, considering the fact that i always study till late nowadays, making myself super tired, making myself want to sleep in.

So yesterday, my dear friend Paulie Angs left Singapore for good,
really hope that it's for good, cos if we sees him back in Singapore again.
It's spells trouble for him. So i will be a case of us seeing him over there instead of he seeing us here.

Wednesday, we had a heart-warming farewell dinner @ somewhere b/w Yishun & Sembamwang " Taste of Thailand" to have Thai food! Its like Tze Char style, so its local and nice. Quite love it except for the part with spiders webs and spiders but we suspected that it was due to Weisheng cos he wear a t-shirt with spider and web on it, guess that spider on the shirt must have attracted it's other friends to come out and play! LOL!

We ordered a lot of food for 3 person, our table was almost full and ppl around us kept staring at us. Thinking that we must be mad and crazy to order so much for just 3 persons.

Thursday, we went to Paulie's hse to help him with some last min packing and to help carry his stuffs. Together, we went to the airport.
At the airport we ate more food!

We hugged and promise to visit him 3 years later, after we complete our NS and have money!
HAHAHA

This time we did not cry, i jus had some watery eye.
Weisheng claimed that he teared a bit but to me it was the Paris Hilton type of tear. =]
Seems like we have all grown up.
On the way back home, Weisheng and I were just laughing at ourselves for crying like F*** the previous time Paul and Daniel left.
I seriously got to admit i cried like F*** for both the times, previously.
No words could describe how i cried except the F word. Hahs
Then i asked Weisheng this question " Would u cry like F*** when i leave Singapore?"
He said " Of course, sure cry like F***"
I doubted him and asked " Serious?"
He said " Really, sure will"
HAHAHA... It's quite nice hearing that actually.
But, i think i wont leave Singapore unless i get some scholarship or what.
Cos i love Singapore, i wont not bear to leave my beautiful country!
So Weisheng does not have a chance to cry like F***. HAHA

I know of the prescence of this guy named, Paul, when i was in Primary 3.
Primary 4, we got into the same class, 4C. We sat closed together but were'nt very close.
We stayed in the same estate so we always take the same bus home.
Primary 5, he went into a better class, 5B while i was stuck in 5C.
Primary 6, i got good results and went to 6B, got into the same class as Paul,
guess that's when our friendship started to blossom.
Got into the same Secondary School, got into the same class.
Was in the same class for 4 years.
But in Sec 4. he decided to quit school to leave for the states.
When i was in J1, he returned! Yeah!
That's how long i have known Paul Ang.

But then came Daniel who had to leave,
He left when i was in J2, we were actually in the same JC but he could not take the pressure and choose to escape to Aussie.

In Sec School, i decided to join Band after having no exciting CCA that would entice me.
It was a right choice because i got to know WeiSheng.
We becames friends when we were mid Sec 1.

Sec 1, both me and Paul were in 1e1. Daniel was in 1e2. Weisheng was in 1e5.
All four in band. But Daniel quit band half way. The rest of us, continued and enjoyed it.

Sec 2, Paul and i were in 2e1, Daniel was in 2e2. Weisheng was in 2e5
The 3 of us were still in band, we become good friends.
Year end, we went to Osaka together with the Band, knowing that next year we will get into the class together with Daniel.

Sec 3, all 4 of us were in the same class, 3e1.
The 4 of us became great friends where we had regular stayovers and hanging out session.
Sec 4, still in the same class but Paul had to go.

Year 2005, May.
The 4 of us, at Changi Airport sending Paul away for the first time.
Remembered that at that time, we were all in Secondary 4,
It was just 10 days before our O Levels Chinese Paper in May.

Year 2005, July.
Celebration of Daniel's 16th Bday without Paul.

Year 2006, June.
Paul returned to Singapore for good! Yeah!
Stayover @ Daniel's.

Year 2006, August.
Weisheng and i played as alumni for our Sec School Band.
Daniel came to support us! Paul was busy =[

Year 2007, Jan.
Weisheng's 18th Bday Celebration @ Swissotel.
All 4 of us was present. Happiness!

Year 2007. July.
Outside Ikea Tampines, where we waited for the cab after shopping for stuffs there for Weisheng's new room.

Just read Kailing's blog entry.
It was about Ishi, from SOUL, superband competition who committ sucide recently.
It was quite a big news i guess.
Then from her blog entry i got linked to her sis's blog whom so happen was Ishi schoolmate in Uni.

So she has a lot of feel about Ishi's death.
And the main message i got from her blog entry was that.
"Treasure all those around", for you dunno when they might just be gone, forever.
It's all about treasuring people and being treasured.
But what if u treasure someone and that someone treats you like crap?
Still continue to treasure? like a toot?

it's just so embarrassing!
my gary neo, my bio tcher called me about 10 mins ago.
to ask me about my missing assignment...

i saw an unfamiliar number on my mobile phone when it rang,
so i thought it was some weird ppl.
the first person that came to my mind was daniel's parent,
as i was suppose to get some stuff from them to bring it over to melbourne for daniel...
i picked up the phone, it was a guy!
so voice that i aint really familiar with.
not someone of my age group, so i linked it to daniel's father!
and who knows!
that called actually didnt tell me who he is, but asked me if u know who he was.
so i pop " daniel's father?"
then the caller was like " HUH?!"
then i knew my ans was wrong, and went " sorri sorri sorri"

ytd on my way home after studying,
i fell down when i was alighting from the bus...
i alight from the bus and stepped into the grass...
but the grass surface was a uneven ground...
so i tipped off my balance, i tried to gain back my balance...
but it was futile, i failed and fell!
how unlucky?
with that fall i earned myself a bruise on my left knee cap that is about 2.5 - 3 5ocents coin big =]
HAHAHA
quite painful, but little blood...

it has been long since i last fell, i dun really remember incidents of me falling down and earning some bruises. cos my knee cap seems to be quite clean; without scars...
its really unluckily that i fell...
but taking things on a brighter side...
i fell hurting only my knee cap, i did not hurt my hand even though i used my hands to cushion my fall. super lucky cos i had bio SPA today. imgaine how am i suppose to to write with a injured hand?
i fell when no one was looking! no one was at the bus stop! no one was behind me when i was alighting from the bus =]
super lucky, so that its not so embarrassing for me =] hees.

the fall may seem to be an unlucky event but looking at things from another angle,
some things may seem to be quite lucky for me...
so its always about how we perceive things, and how we choose to look at things...
something always has 2 sides, things are often a doubled-edged so its up to us to decide how we wanna look at it!
so next time when faced with unhappiness, stop and take another view =]

Do you all see the difference? I hope you all do.
I still remember last year, at this time, I was struggling over a decision; whether to quit council and join some slack CCA just for the sake of my testimonial.
Soon, I have decided and wanted to quit, prepared everything, typed the apology letter which “quitters” are supposed to make for displacing the trust your voters place in you.
But, after seeing the principal I wasn’t allowed to quit, together with Gary, Veronica and Shuen Lin, so we were sort of forced to stay and continue in council.
I’ve decided to make the best out of everything, thinking that since I could never even get out. In short I was stuck in shit. Being the optimistic me, I decided to turn shit into a super useful fertilizer to groom myself.

I devote myself and gave what I could to council.
At first, I felt weird and felt unwelcome, because everyone seems to have their own clique and I don’t feel belonged. Luckily, I have with me my super OG11 peeps, Germaine Ng and Veronica, to accompany me. I wasn’t feeling so bad then.
At that time, I was just doing what I need, what I was told to do, not doing anything extra, thinking that I need not.

Then came the choosing of ad-hocs. I always admire teachers and are really thankful of kind and good teachers. Therefore, I chose Teacher’s Day as my ad-hoc. I was glad I chose it as my ad-hoc, because it bonded me to council more and I feel more at home. Now, I feel that I belong.
Aesthetico also helped in bringing me into council. Under the lead of Xuewei, even through she aint very aesthetical but I think she’s a nice leader, she’s caring, supportive and easy going. She always rope me into after council outing, but I always reject her, because at that time I still don’t get the ‘feel’ from council, thus I thought home was better. With Germaine inside Aesthe it was even better, I have a friend =] Luckily she’s there, if not I would be alone. There’s also the easy going, small June who so nice and always giving a helping hand whenever she could. Not forgetting the rest of the Aestheticians that they are nice peeps too! =]

Then came Open Hse, where how I feel bonded to council, I know more people and they are all nice people just like me! =]

I guess it was the trips to Ikea that really bonded me to council. All the Ikea, the Queensway and the food and the gossip really did work for me. I began loving council.
Previously, I feel kinda of obliged to go for council stuffs, but now I love going for council stuffs. I just enjoy it.

Orientation 1. We planned hard for it and want it to be good and better than the one we experience, it turned out well. We learned a lot and we grew.

Orientation 2. We managed it, being better day by day, being the best in the end. Some cried, I did not. I was just not touched or affected.

Council Camp. It was a mad rush. Before the council camp, I cried when miss chiew told to sit down and think back and played that nostalgic song. I cried because I saw how I grow, I cried because I was happy, I cried because I stayed in council. I cried because we really went through a lot to be what we are today.

Block test results was a devastating disaster for me. I somehow do agree to a small extent that council robbed my time of studying but it’s also due to me, myself, for not managing time well and for not placing priority right. But I dun blame council at all.

I reap a lot from my council term. I grew a lot and learn to be stronger. But somehow, I can’t really express what I learned. It’s just that I myself know that I’ve benefited. Now, I’m definitely a better Bingliang.

Looking back, I’m proud to say I’m from 29th Student Council and I’ve never regretted not quitting council. I love 29.SC!

Now, SC is leaving out lives, we would be feeling empty but I’m gonna fill it up with A’s. I promise I’m going to make full use of my time to mug and mug and mug to bring my As in. I will catch in all my work by the June holidays and then seriously ACE my mids! =]

for both parts of the paper, i got "see me". cos they were marked by diff tchers.
this just showed how much i had irritated them.
they wrote comments like : " did u study?"
like duh? if not i would handed in something empty!
"u are not putting in enough/ ur best effort!"

wat got me pissed was the lecture that the teacher gave.
LIKE OMG! deserved tons of slaps for that...
he said " dun tell me u all have stress, the other classes all have stress but their results aint this bad"
like hello! diff ppl have diff stress. stress level is not the same in every class

today let's tok about studying...
particularly studying alone or in grps...

i think almost everyone have to agree that studying alone is the most effective and efficient method...
cos being alone, u will be able to concentrate much better
there will be minimal distractions, no noise, JUST U
hahaha
there wont be anyone to disturb ur trail of thinking...
therefore studying alone is sort of the best

BUT sometimes i like studying in grps...
cos its not so boring, more interesting, can gossip while studying
BUT efficency is greatly reduced =[
studying in grps also allows u to clear any doubts tt might arise immediately,
provided tt u are studying wit ur peeps and peeps who can make it! HAHA
hees...

most of the time grp studying is usually not effective, unless u have discipline, self discipline!
to control urself to not go astray but to stay focus on studying!
i think i have a great study partner yonghui who's at sajc now
i think studying wit him is so far the best, cos i usually get to achieve the most, as we usually concentrate on mugging and we always encourage and push each other along =]
tis year i haven got the chance to study wit him cos been rather busy =[
but i guess i shall meet him to study regularly soon, when the march hols comes!

i was really really REALLY worried b4 the release

for the past few days i have been going to sch...
going to sch for council...
till my mother asked " wei she mo mei tian qu xue xiao?"
i'm like " bcos of orientation lo"
i've been going for sch frm 9 to sometimes dunno when
usually late...
orientation is coming and i am sure excitied about it...
HAHAHA
luckily i kinda of love council if not i will sure grumble @ the amt of work and
grumble @ the days i have to report to sch...

all these reminds me of the band days...

i'm safe! i'm back!
back frm my cruise trip...
this cruise trip was a cruise to no where kinda of cruise...
was b/w singaporea and malacca i guess?
some fellow told us...

but who cares...

the cruise was not some superstar watever watever de...

not really high class but still can make it...
i went to the cruise wit tons of aunties and uncles!

this trip would be a wonderful one for senior-philes =] hahaha
cos u can SEE all sorts of aunties and uncles..

so i was like suffering for the whole trip la...

cos its cruise then it was buffet all the way... breakfast lunch dinner supper!

shopping for logis was really auntie today...
really funny and enjoyable...
but BUT
we failed maths badly...

at first
i said 8 * 40 = 240 in the mrt
when its 320
oh god...
luckily ziwei corrected me...
but its nothing impt...
jus some random gossip...

then we wanted to buy waterbomb bags...
see see so mani types of bags...
got high...
so mani diff sizes, number blahz...
counted we need 41...
happily said...
no one objected...
and we kept thinking tt we needed 41 packets of 4.50 bags...
in a 4.50 bags there's 500 bags...
41*500 = a lot...
when we only need 8140?
somemore i keep stressing that we need only 8140...
but no one realised the mistake too!
oh god...
even the shop uncles and aunties...
mayb we were jus too NOISY
we wanted 41 but they only had 28...
"make do" BUT counted and felt a bit salah...
